Launched in 2024 by Te Hiku Local, this platform was built with our people, for our people. First tested in beta, it was shaped by community feedback to reflect the look, feel, and needs of Te Hiku. Because it’s locally created, it will continue to evolve to serve our community. Registration takes less than three minutes, and you only need to provide the details relevant to your business, service, club or organisation.

  • Are there any guidelines or restrictions for business listings?

    Yes, there are guidelines and restrictions for listings in our community directory. To be eligible, businesses, organisations or services must be situated within the Te Hiku region. We also do not allow listings for businesses engaged in unlawful activities, or any business or group that may cause disruption or conflict within the community.

  • Is there a fee for registering my business?

    No, there is no fee to list your business on the Te Hiku Community directory.

  • Can I edit or update my business listing after registration?

    Yes, you can edit or update your business listing after registration. Please contact us here advising the changes you would like to make.

  • Is my personal information safe and secure?

    Yes, your personal information is safe and secure with us. We only request information related to your business, which is typically publicly available. Your personal details, like your name, are kept private and are not shared with any other organizations. We take the protection of your data seriously and have measures in place to ensure its security.

  • How can I contact support if I have issues with registration?

    You can reach out to us via our contact form. One of our team members will contact you within 24 business hours to assist.

  • Is it okay if I don't have a logo or image that represents my business?

    Yes, that is okay. You can add an image or logo representing your business at a later date. 

  • When will my listing be approved?

    All directory registrations will be processed within 24 - 48 business hours. If there are any problems with your listing, a team member will be in contact.
