Pilates Instructor | Fitness Instructor | Yoga Teacher

Location:  Kaingaroa, Far North
Job Type:  Contract

Grey Heron Studios is seeking qualified and dedicated instructors to join our rural studio community. We are currently recruiting for three contract roles across Pilates, Fitness and Yoga instruction.


These roles suit experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering safe and professional class instruction within a supportive and positive studio environment.


Duties

  • Instruct and teach classes mornings and/or evenings, weekdays and weekends
  • Book clients and assist with studio bookings
  • Maintain studio hygiene and presentation standards
  • Open and close the studio as required


Skills & Qualifications Required

Applicants must hold one of the following:

  • Pilates Instructor certification (STOTT, BASI or Polestar preferred)
  • Fitness Instructor qualification from a recognised institution
  • Yoga Teacher registration (RYT 200h or RYT 500)

Additionally, applicants must:

  • Be confident using and assisting clients with the booking system
  • Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Hold a current First Aid certificate or be willing to obtain or renew

The successful applicant/s will be energetic and dedicated, and will be able to program and deliver safe and professional class instruction. You will also need to be flexible, reliable, and provide cover when and if applicable. Have the ability to connect with clients respectfully and professionally, and a drive for high standards and commitment within the health and wellness industry.

Grey Heron Studios is a Pilates and Fitness Studio situated rurally in Kaingaroa, Far North. This rural setting creates a private space for small classes, privates, and semi-privates.
